BORYANA IVANOVA
Founder and Curator
Boryana is a director and producer who has worked in communities around the globe to bring about change. By blending various media, she creates innovative stories that examine issues of critical social importance. Most recently, Boryana joined forces with the multiple award-winning film and television company UFA Fiction, to create and produce the animated documentary series Masters of Survival, which has screened at the House of World Cultures in Berlin and the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto.
Boryana’s work has been recognized at film festivals across the globe. She has also appeared on panels and given talks at conferences such as re:publica and Augmented World Expo, addressing the use of new storytelling methods and immersive technologies. Her passion for storytelling and female empowerment led her to co-founding the Future of Film. Boryana also serves as a judge for Los Angeles CineFest. She has written extensively on social justice issues for major media outlets such as VICE, AJ+, Exberliner, and Die Zeit.
TANVIYA SAPRU
Event Organizer
Tanviya, is a journalist who has worked in the UK, Germany and India who has recently branched into being a content creator on Youtube. Over the past couple of years, Tanviya have been generating creative ideas and content for publications, research firms, film production companies and NGOs worldwide. She has worked for Deutsche Welle, Channel 4, The Stanley Brothers, The Times of India and Greenpeace to name a few. As the co-founder of the Youtube channel Tan & Nas, she illustrates her work and interests on a number of multimedia platforms.
With her growing following on social media, she includes other projects and discussions she's working on for an audience to be a part of. As the Event Organizer of the Future of Film, she has helped find a range of creators from across the world who are of mixed cultural heritages. Tanviya makes the most of her online platforms to spark up interesting virtual conferences and discussions.
